Andrew Bishop

Andrew "Drew" Bishop is the senior advisor for opportunity evaluation for ExxonMobil Corporation. In this role, he supports the chairman, management committee, and business lines in major decisions related to investments, divestments, and acquisitions. He has been with ExxonMobil for more than two decades.

In his previous role as global upstream development planning manager — deepwater, he directed the development concepts for major projects around the world. Linked to this role, he also worked as the Brazil E&P manager in the mergers and acquisitions organization.

Prior to these roles, Bishop was the operations technical manager for Esso Australia, where he had responsibility for all technical work supporting the ExxonMobil producing assets in the country. He has held a number of business and technical leadership roles both domestically and internationally, including in Angola, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

Bishop is a graduate of the Department of Mining and Minerals Engineering at Virginia Tech, and in 1999 served as the undergraduate student body reprentative to the university's board of visitors. He’s an active community volunteer, holding with roles in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of America, and as a baseball and football coach.

Bishop and his wife, Deborah, are based in Dallas, Texas, where they are raising two sons, William and Thomas.
