Andrew W. (Drew) Bishop is the Senior Advisor for Opportunity Evaluation within ExxonMobil Corporation. In this role he supports the Chairman, Management Committee (MC) and business lines in major decisions related to investments, divestments and acquisitions. Drew has been with ExxonMobil for 20 years.
In his previous role as the Global Upstream Development Planning Manager: Deepwater he directed the development concepts for major projects around the world. Linked to this role, he spent a short while as the Brazil E&P Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions organization.
Prior to these roles, Drew was the Operations Technical Manager for Esso Australia where he had responsibility for all technical work supporting the ExxonMobil producing assets in the country.
Drew has held a number of business and technical leadership roles both domestically and internationally (Angola, Norway, and United Kingdom).
Drew is a Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Mining and Minerals Engineering (English Minor) and served as the Undergraduate Representative to the Board of Visitors (1999). He’s been an active member in the community with roles in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of America and coaching baseball and football.
Drew and his wife Deborah are based in Dallas, Texas where they are raising their two boys, William and Thomas.
