2025 Career Fair!

The department's biggest career fair yet is happening this week—giving students a chance to connect with industry leaders. Fifty major employers from mining, minerals, and energy-related industries are bringing opportunities to Blacksburg, with positions available in summer internships, co-ops, and full-time roles.

What's happening and when: The two-day event kicks off Tuesday, October 21 at the Inn at Virginia Tech with the career fair floor open to undergraduate and graduate studenbts to learn more about companies and share resumes. Wednesday brings one-on-one interviews with participating companies

Students, before you go: Make sure you're registered on Handshake to learn about the companies attending this year's fair, and bring plenty of printed resumes to the Inn! This is the event that connects our top talent with the companies ready to hire them!
