Our Department

The Mining and Minerals Engineering department is a diverse community of professionals with a committment to research, teaching, learning and supporting the students of the program. The department's faculty are widely recognized for their expertise and pioneering research in areas such as clean coal technology, tomography, gas monitoring and detection, exhaust and jet fan design, and environmental engineering. A low student-to-faculty ratio ensures that our students receive individual mentorship and top-notch adcademic and career advising.
